Once you’ve installed Papermind for Mac or Windows, you’ll need to connect the app with your Slack workspace. Once you sign into Papermind using your Slack credentials, you can then grant Papermind with permission to access your Slack workspace.

Creating a new article in Papermind is simple. Once you’ve entered your copy, highlight the copy to stylize and link your copy to external resources. Drag and drop media from your desktop right into your articles. Add tags to associate your article with others in Papermind. Save in draft before publishing to share with everyone in your Slack workspace.

Articles created in Papermind are version controlled. Click on the version link within articles to preview versions created by all authors who have worked on the article. Click on Revert to restore the article to a previous version.

Drag and drop files into Papermind, upload from your desktop or add external links from third party repositories like YouTube, Dropbox and more.

Creating categories for both articles and files enables you to organize your content based on category. Add categories and drag to rearrange how your categories are displayed to all users accessing Papermind.

When creating an article you can click on the Use a template link to access the library of templates. Papermind provides you with a list of templates including plans, notes, an example contract and more. You can edit these templates to suit your needs.

Within Papermind articles, files and teams can be added to your own collection by clicking on the star icon. Viewing starred items will display your personalized collection of things in Papermind.

You can share your articles and files stored within Papermind, with your team members directly in Slack.

Export articles you create and manage in Papermind as PDF documents for sharing with others outside of your Papermind environment.
